Remarks: Thyrotrophin Receptor Antibodies (TR-AB), also called TSI (Thyroid Stimulating Immunoglobulin) is a term used for all antibodies that recognise the receptor for Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH). These antibodies can be detected in about 90% of patients with hyperthyroidism due to Graves disease and play a major role in the pathogenesis of this disease.
