Units: Titer Range: A positive IgM test may indicate current infection
Remarks: Measles (rubeola) is caused by a paramyxovirus. Serologic study can be useful in establishing that an individual has effective immunity subsequent to vaccination. In several patients detectable immunity does not persist.
