Range: A positive IgG titer means infection anywhere in the past.
Remarks:
Herpes Zoster serology applies to VZV (Varicella Zoster virus). VZV produces two clinically defferent syndromes: Chickenpox (usually bening in immunocompetent children, but may be severe in adults and immunosuppressed patients) and Herpes Zoster or Shingles (occurs when VZV infection is reactivated).
