Remarks: Used as creening test for unexpected antibodies before transfusion procedure as well as Rh screen in the first trimester of pregnancy both in Rh( ) and Rh(-) expectant mothers. In some cases a false positive test can be seen due to certain therapies (drug induced false positrive Cooms trest) or in cases of previously tranfused patients.
