Remarks: H. pylori antibodies test is used to determine the cause of chronic gastritis or ulcers of the stomach or duodenum. More than 95% of cases with positive H. pylori test are associated with chronic gastritis. H. pylori serology has become a standard tool for investigating the epidemiology of H. pylori infections.
